Job Summary
This individual will receive hands-on experience in healthcare analytics value-based care strategy and operational improvement addition to supporting performance analysis efforts this individual will contribute to a focused vaccine inventory management & supply chain improvement project; the project is aimed at improving vaccine tracking forecasting and inventory processes across all clinical sites. This opportunity is ideal for students who are analytically driven and interested in healthcare analytics public health operations health informatics or healthcare supply chain management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Compile clean and validate data from multiple internal systems.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends in quality utilization and cost performance.
- Support identification of care gaps and operational improvement opportunities.
- Assist in preparing reports summaries and presentations for leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and project meetings.
- Document processes requirements and findings to support program optimization.
- Analyze vaccine inventory data to assess usage patterns waste and replenishment cycles.
- Evaluate current inventory workflows and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Support demand-forecasting efforts using patient population and seasonal trend data.
- Assist in standardizing vaccine tracking and reporting processes across sites.
- Develop recommendations to improve ordering accuracy reduce waste and maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Present findings and actionable recommendations to operational leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Licensures & Certifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration Business Data Analytics Statistics Supply Chain Management Health Informatics or related field.
- Must have completed at least two (2) years of college and be a rising Junior or Senior.
- Knowledge Skills & Abilities
- Required:
- Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office specifically Excel (including formulas pivot tables and data organization).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; as well as interpersonal relationship building abilities.
- Self-motivated a team player with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Preferred:
- Exposure to data analysis or research projects.
- Basic knowledge of SQL or data querying concepts.
- Interest in population health healthcare operations or supply chain optimization.
Familiarity with inventory management or forecasting concepts.
