This job supports the coordination implementation and effective operations of the companys compliance enterprise risk management security and emergency preparedness programs. Supports the strategic vision long-term planning direction and overall accountability for these risk management programs. Communicates and interprets organizational and divisional strategies goals and objectives to all areas of responsibility and provides leadership and direction in the planning implementation and evaluation activities of all areas of responsibility.Supports and develops a standardized framework to identify quantify measure report and mitigate risk across the organization.

Education
Required - Juris Doctor.
Preferred - Advanced degree in healthcare or related field.
Work Experience
Required - 12 years of progressive experience in healthcare compliance operations regulatory compliance risk management audit law or similar field;
OR
Advanced degree in related field and 10 years of related experience.
Certifications
Required - CHC CHPC CHRC CPC CCS or other related certification.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
- Computer skills and dexterity for data entry and retrieval of information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally.
- Proficient with Windows-style applications and various software packages specific to role and keyboard.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to operate in a collaborative shared leadership environment with a high degree of confidence leadership initiative and a results-oriented approach to management.
- Expert leadership and coaching skills and ability to prepare and present results solutions and recommendations to diverse audiences including physicians management and staff.

- Expert knowledge of compliance concepts applicable laws and regulations business risk effective risk management techniques and auditing and compliances role in corporate governance and its key relationships with the audit committee board and executive and operating management.
- Expert skills to translate complex laws and regulations into easily understood concepts apply those concepts to a function or process and teach/instruct others on these matters.
- Ability to possess the highest sense of integrity exercising unprejudiced and unbiased judgment on behalf of the company.
- Ability to travel regionally to various sites and work a flexible work schedule (e.g. more than 8 hours a day).
Job Duties
- Leads division and organizational executive leadership to maintain an effective compliance program by ensuring that all project planning performance documentation follow-up and organization is conducted in accordance with compliance standards.
- Designs develops and leads division strategies to resolve potential risk and compliance issues collaboratively across the organization.
- Communicates with key stakeholders about projects initiatives and strategies to resolve issues and achieve desired corrective action.
- Sets division strategy for and provides in-services and other educational services to organization management and employees regarding risks controls and compliance-related matters.
- Maintains current and advanced technical compliance regulatory knowledge; sets and leads comprehensive strategic compliance solutions for the organization management and employees.
- Pursues self-development individually and leads self-development for division which is comprised of internal external and self-administered curriculum as well as regular reading of applicable journals periodicals and publications.
- Performs other related duties as required.

Normal routine involves no exposure to blood body fluid or tissue and as part of their employment incumbents are not called upon to perform or assist in emergency care or first aid.
There is no occupational risk for exposure to communicable diseases.
Because the incumbent works within a healthcare setting there may be occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste within the environment through receipt transport storage preparation dispensing administration cleaning and/or disposal of contaminated waste. The risk level of exposure may increase depending on the essential job duties of the role.
