Job Summary

Position Synopsis

This role reports to the Chief Executive Officer who will be able to mentor many VPs as your departmental scope will be vast. As the second most senior leader in this organization the Chief Financial Officer will collaborate directly with the CEO Chief Revenue Officer VP of Marketing COO and other senior leaders as you embrace an environment that promotes continued business growth and excellence. Beyond traditional oversight of GAAP reporting and FP&A your direction will be the primary voice of reason as this company continues to enjoy parabolic growth. Guiding capital allocation and global expansion are key areas you will enjoy in this role. Job Duties

  • Lead and manage Corporate Accounting FP&A Procurement Technology and Human Resources to coordinate enterprise-wide growth collaboration and process improvement.
  • As a trusted partner to the CEO development and refine this companys strategic goals while empowering your departments co-leading board presentations derive data driven decisions and strive for operational excellence.
  • Serve as a primary strategic partner to the CEO and Board providing the financial voice of reason to guide global expansion and capital allocation.
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated 13-week and long-term cash flow forecasting models to ensure liquidity during periods of rapid growth.
  • Oversee and optimize Trade Spend and Gross Sales Dollars (GSD) analyzing bill-backs and trade promotions to ensure retail shelf health and profitability.
  • Manage the financial relationship with key distributors including Unifi ensuring accurate accounting for complex distribution cycles.
  • Lead and mentor a global finance team of 12 professionals fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Drive the implementation of a professional Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle in collaboration with the Director of Demand Planning.
  • Oversee demand planning functions including inventory forecasting production planning and raw material procurement large portfolio of products.
  • Direct the month-end close process and ensure the delivery of GAAP-compliant financial reporting packages for PE investors and the Board.
  • Act as the lead liaison alongside the CEO for the PE Sponsors Audit Committee and Chairman of the Board.
  • Optimize the utilization of Intacct Shopify and Promomash to improve data visibility and automate manual reporting processes.
  • Evaluate and drive profitability across diverse sales channels including Big Box D2C and international wholesale.
  • Lead capital expenditure (CapEx) analysis for bottling operations and logistics improvements.
  • Ensure rigorous internal controls and risk management protocols are in place across all global entities.
  • Prepare and co-lead quarterly Board presentations delivering data-driven insights that influence the companys 3-year operating plan.
    • Solve complex business problems by bringing ideas into action to enhance our rapidly growing foreign entities in EMEA.
    • Continue to develop your accounting & finance team allowing them to partner with operations and departmental leaders on strategic initiatives (Free Cash Flow initiatives Operating Plan process new metrics/KPIs)
    • Partner with CEO & Chief Revenue Officer to develop quarterly close deliverables including KPI performance overview update forecast and related external guidance model and analyst estimate consensus tracking.
    • Utilize forward-looking models and activity-based analyses to provide financial insight into the organizations plans and operating budgets.
    • Qualifications:

      • 15 years of progressive experience within a fast paced & high growth organization
      • Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or related field required
      • CPA MBA or CFA preferred
      • Experience with Cosmetics CPG Food Beverage and/or Apparel is encouraged but not required.
      • Exposure to international operations various business models and global complexity ideally including experience entering new markets.
      • Proficient at creating elegant efficient and effective financial models budgets and reports and enthusiastic to train others to do the same.
      • Budgeting/Planning/Analytic Tool Environment experience such as Vena PBCS (Hyperion) Adaptive Insights Host Analytics OneStream HFM Alteryx Tableau or Anaplan all a plus
