Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Work with Bid Team on Bill of Quantity prepare technical proposal and tender submission for Mega Project.
STRATEGIC ROLE
- Provide engineering drawing and overall technical and application support to Asia Market Unit.
- Key person responsible for Thermal products on technical support and solutions.
- Work with Bid Team on Bill of Quantity prepare technical proposal and tender submission for Mega Project.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Provide technical advice on Vertiv Liebert product application and selection to Asia Market Units.
- Provide engineering design and installation of Cooling product particularly in Data Center environment and others such as Light industrial and Lab.
- Write technical proposal design presentation and to provide engineering drawings in AutoCAD.
- Generate Bill of Quantity and technical specification for proposed design
- Maintain the drawings (soft/hard copies) catalogues white papers application and technical reference materials to ensure that they are updated orderly and readily accessible.
- Exercise sense of urgency be analytical and professional in the approach and cultivate long term customer relationship and where possible strive for win-win solutions.
- Cultivate a work approach of pro-activeness keeping up to date the knowledge and application of company products/services and other related services while continually pursue self/personal development by self analysis reading benchmarking against the best in the industry and practice.
REQUIREMENTS:
- University/College Degree or professional qualification in Mechanical Engineering. Major in Refrigeration or HVAC is preferable.
- Minimum 35 years experience in related application & technical field. Experience with Data Center / CRAC units.
- Understand the Data Center Standard is added advantages (uptime BICSI DCDC TIA).
- Ability to work effectively and diligently as an individual and team member.
- Computer literacy.
- Autocad design skill and CFD (Computer Fluid Dynamic) simulation skill is added advantages.
