What Youll Do
- Providing tax support to the accounting team leader
- Coordinating the tax part and providing operational support to staff in their day-to-day work
- Providing tax support for all direct tax matters
- VAT returns for Germany Poland Switzerladng and the Netherlands
- Tax returns for Germany and Switzerland (corporate income tax trade tax etc.)
- Analysis of all financial accounts preparation of all necessary files / calculations (e.g. Non-deductible rent accruals etc.)
- Reviewing tax assessment notices
- Ensuring compliance with local transfer pricing regulations within the framework of the companys overall business model
- Supporting and preparing for tax audits by the tax authorities
- Collaborating with the internal teams and local external advisors
What You Must Have
- A Bachelors Degree in tax accounting or similar areas
- 8-10 years of professional experience in the field of taxation either at an international corporation or at an accounting firm (corporate tax international tax)
- Analytical and entrepreneurial thinking
- Flexibility resilience and a strong commitment to the job
- Leadership skills
- Ability to handle stress
- Strong presentation skills
- Very good MS Office (specifically Excel) skills
- Strong numerical aptitude and analytical approach to work
- Excellent English and German skills
Nice If You Have
- Certification as a tax advisor is preferred
