Job Summary
Skill Required: Snowflake DBTDatastageSQL
Exp: (6 - 8yrs) Relevant 6 yrs no lesser
Must-Have**
1. Expertise in Snowflake - ELT using Snowflake SQL implementing complex stored Procedures and build data pipelines using DBT(Data Build Tool)
2. Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities SnowSQL DBT and Datastage
Good-to-Have
1. Exposure to job scheduling/monitoring environments(Eg. Control-M)
2. Any Big data tools Hadoop Spark. 3. Cloud migration experience
Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
1 Work with Snowflake advanced concepts like setting up resource monitors RBAC controls virtual warehouse sizing query performance tuning Zero copy clone and understand how to use these features
2 Ability to provide resolution to an extensive range of complicated data pipeline related problems using DBT
3 Build processes supporting data transformation data structures metadata dependency and workload management
4 Ability to drive end to end implementation of Snowflake cloud data warehouse and migrate/transform on-premise DW on any ETL platform to Snowflake Cloud with DBT
5 Expertise in deploying Snowflake features such as data sharing to enable data consumption from Cloud
6 Review the architectural/ technological solutions for ongoing projects and work with required tech leads to adopt to the data migration strategies and share best practices
