Job Summary

Flatbed OTR Driver Aluminum Products

Location: Eastern Half of the U.S. (Wisconsin to Texas and all states east; excluding NYC)
Schedule: OTR Thursday through Monday 5-day schedule with 2 consecutive days off

Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Flatbed OTR Drivers to haul aluminum products across the eastern half of the United States. Drivers will be responsible for touch freight (load securement required for large aluminum coils) and will stay in hotels during layovers. Routes cover miles per week with 4 6 stops including 1 5 drop & hooks per week.

Responsibilities

Safely operate day cab flatbed trailer with rolling tarp kit
Secure loads using straps only (no chains)
Perform strapping and tarping of aluminum products
Dock-to-dock deliveries
Handle layovers and follow Hours of Service (HOS) regulations
Communicate with dispatch regarding scheduling and delivery windows

Requirements

Proven experience as a flatbed driver
Ability to handle touch freight including large aluminum coils
Comfortable with 3 4 layovers per week
Must follow HOS and delivery schedules
Valid CDL (Class A) with clean driving record

Compensation

Annual Pay: $105000
Mileage Pay: $0.73 per mile
Customer Delivery: $25
Backhaul Pick-Up & Delivery: $45 each
Layover Pay: $57 per layover
Detention Pay: $30/hr after first hour
