Job Summary

As a Front Office Coordinator at Engineered Performance you will be responsible for greeting patients check-in process scheduling follow up appointments answering phones and assisting Physical Therapists with insurance prior authorization. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment and maintaining efficient communication with patients and providers. To thrive in this role you have a passion for patient well-being and prior experience in a front desk role. This is a full-time (40-hr) opportunity.

Engineered Performance is located in Ankeny. This location supports physical therapy needs for our patients as well as provides strength and conditioning program for athletes (high school students college athletes and weekend warriors)

Here is What You Can Expect:

  • Providing and obtaining necessary paperwork from patients in preparation for their Physical Therapy appointment.
  • Communicating with patients that may not be pleasant at times yet are grateful for our guidance and assistance in getting them back to living by scheduling appointments following up with patients after cancellations and obtaining payment from patients as needed.
  • Working with insurance companies to obtain authorization for appointments.
  • Being apart of a close-knit team that expects an outstanding experience for patients and clients.

  • Multi-tasker. Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time while staying organized.
  • Curiosity. You practice the art of listening asking clarifying questions and avoiding interrupting patients and co-workers.
  • Dependability. Ensures patients receive timely care promotes a reliable healthcare environment and supports the overall efficiency of the clinic and team.
