Job Summary
About the role
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead the operational performance of selectability to ensure highquality personcentred service delivery across all regions
- Translate strategic plan into effective operational plans ensuring alignment with selectabilitys mission and community focus
- Oversee the delivery growth and continuous improvement of mental health NDIS Child and Family Care and community wellbeing programs
- Strengthen and streamline systems processes and workflows to enhance efficiency consistency and compliance
- Drive a culture of collaboration accountability safety and service excellence
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation standards funding requirements and clinical/governance frameworks
- Lead and mentor operational leaders to build capability engagement and highperforming teams
- Manage organisational risk by implementing robust quality safety and governance practices
- Monitor operational KPIs and performance metrics using data to inform decisionmaking and drive improvement
- Support sustainable growth through service expansion resource planning and operational readiness
- Work closely with the CEO and executive team to shape organisational priorities and longterm strategy
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including government agencies partners and community organisations
About you
To be successful in this position you will have:
- Persuasive written and excellent presentation skills
- Process improvement experience and ability to analyse information
- Be a team player
- An innovative and practical mindset with the ability to think outside the box
- Ensuring that all middle managers are provided with clear information relating to their areas of responsibility to support their development and move to full accountability
- Setting and meeting deadlines and providing accurate and timely information
- Compliance with all relevant policies and procedures standards statutory and contract provisions
- Stakeholder engagement both internally and externally
Role requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (highly desirable)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a senior management position (highly desirable)
- Experience in presenting to the Board Committees Executive Management (desirable)
- Travel to selectability sites and external locations may be required from time to time
- Out of hours work may be required from time to time
- A Child Safety & Personal History Screening check
- A Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (or the ability to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Quality Safety & You completion certificate
- A current minimum P1 C class Queensland drivers licence

This is an acting position based in Townsville to cover the role of Chief Operating Officer from 22 April 2026 to 5 May 2025.
