About the Role: Support Worker (Female Only)

This role is advertised under the Genuine Occupation Requirement on the basis that Lancaster and Morecambe district require female support staff for their patients.

Supporting adults with disabilities to have short breaks in a 6 bedroom purpose built accommodation.

Our service offers short breaks in purpose-built fully equipped accommodationavailable 24 hours a day 7 days a weekfor people with a wide range of disabilities. As a Support Worker youll play a vital role in helping individuals enjoy meaningful experiences and maintain their independence.

What Youll Be Doing

Youll provide holistic person-centred support that includes:

Assisting with daily living activities and personal care
Supporting individuals to access community activities and social opportunities
Helping manage finances and administer medication
Promoting health wellbeing and positive outcomes in line with care plans and risk assessments
