Facilities Technician

In this role youll play a vital part in maintaining the smooth operation of our facilitiesensuring essential systems run reliably and efficiently every day.

What Youll Be Doing

Youll be at the heart of our operations responsible for keeping our building systems in top condition:

  • Carry out preventive maintenance to minimise downtime

  • Perform routine repairs across mechanical electrical and facility systems

  • Operate and support critical systems (HVAC electrical mechanical equipment)

  • Troubleshoot issues and escalate complex problems when needed

  • Conduct inspections to spot and prevent potential faults

  • Maintain accurate records (work orders maintenance logs documentation)

  • Ensure tools equipment and workspaces are safe clean and organised

  • Support facility upgrades and installation projects

  • Follow all safety standards and regulatory guidelines

What Were Looking For

Were looking for someone practical reliable and eager to learn:

  • Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems

  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools

  • Strong problem-solving mindset

  • Ability to read and follow technical manuals and instructions

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow

Preferred (but not essential)

  • Technical certification or vocational training

  • Any hands-on experience (internship apprenticeship part-time work)

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 25kg

  • Comfortable working in industrial/facility environments

  • Willingness to work at heights or in confined spaces when required

  • Flexibility for shift work overtime or weekends based on operational needs (this is very occasional)
