Regional Supplier Quality Manager
Job Summary
The Regional Supplier Quality Manager is responsible for leading the strategic development and performance management of the supplier base to support operational and business objectives. This role ensures supplier quality reliability and continuous improvement by driving robust qualification processes monitoring performance against agreed KPIs and implementing effective risk mitigation and contingency plans. The position plays a key role in supporting new product introduction (NPI) fostering strong supplier partnerships and leading cost optimization and quality improvement initiatives across the region.
In addition the role will include building leading and developing a team of up to five Supplier Quality Engineers ensuring alignment with regional and global quality and procurement strategies.

- Support regional projects and new supplier qualification activities across Europe.
- Ensure quality standards are prioritized while balancing cost timing and performance objectives.
- Support the dkPAP process in close collaboration with plant SQEs ensuring all requirements are properly verified validated and documented in the system.
- Conduct regular supplier assessments including audits risk evaluations business reviews and ad hoc visits to address urgent quality issues.
- Lead and support supplier escalations and complaints from regional plants to ensure continuity of operations.
- Collaborate with Procurement on strategic sourcing decisions supplier risk mitigation and cost optimization initiatives.
- Share lessons learned and supplier-related insights with regional SQMs to support global procurement strategies.
- Provide support to plant incoming quality activities when needed ensuring timely resolution of supplier-related issues.
- Monitor supplier corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
An experience that matters: Your skills
- University degree in Engineering Supply Chain Quality Management or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar regional Supplier Quality or Operations role
- Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g. FMEA SPC MSA 5 Why 8D)
- Experience with auditing and solid understanding of ISO 9001 IATF 16949 or other relevant standards
- Experience with data analysis tools; experience with Power BI is an advantage
- Proven leadership experience ideally within a matrix organization
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills with the ability to drive win-win outcomes
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution
- Analytical mindset with the ability to understand the broader business context
