Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Senior Care Champion to provide high-quality care and support to seniors in an assisted living setting in1075 E Victory Dr Lindenhurst IL 60046. The ideal candidate is patient attentive and passionate about helping seniors maintain their independence comfort and dignity while promoting a safe and engaging environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one care and support to senior residents.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing dressing grooming and toileting.
- Support mobility and transfers using equipment such as gait belts sit-to-stand devices or Hoyer lifts when needed.
- Assist with meal preparation feeding support and hydration reminders.
- Provide companionship and emotional support while encouraging engagement in activities.
- Monitor and report changes in the clients physical or emotional condition to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents.
- Follow care plans and agency policies while ensuring client comfort and safety.
Qualifications:
- Previous caregiving experience in assisted living home care or senior care preferred.
- Knowledge of Alzheimers dementia hospice or Parkinsons care is a plus.
- Experience with transfers and mobility assistance preferred.
- Strong communication patience and compassion.
- Ability to pass background check and required screenings.
- Reliable and committed to providing quality care.
