Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Local Route Driver (Non-CDL) to join our this role you will be responsible for safely delivering products to customers along a designated route while providing excellent service at each stop.
This is a local delivery position so youll be home every day.
Schedule
- Start Time: Typically between 4:00 AM 6:00 AM
- Shift Length: 810 hours depending on route and volume
- Days: Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays as needed
- Home Daily no overnight or long-haul routes
This role requires flexibility as start and end times may vary based on delivery schedules and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a company vehicle (box truck or delivery van) in a safe and efficient manner
- Deliver orders to restaurants grocery stores and other customers along assigned routes
- Load and unload products using carts pallet jacks or by hand
- Verify deliveries for accuracy and obtain customer signatures
- Provide professional and courteous customer service
- Complete required paperwork and maintain delivery records
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any issues
- Follow all DOT and company safety guidelines
- Support warehouse operations as needed
Qualifications
- Valid drivers license (CDL not required)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift 5080 lbs consistently
- Comfortable with a physically active role (lifting walking stairs frequent stops)
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Good communication and customer service skills
Previous delivery route driving or warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
