Job Summary

Responsibilities:

1. To enable training through the administration of the Platoon for all exercises ranges lessons and activities.

2. Coaching and monitoring of Recruits and Permanent Staff respectively.

3. Responsible to teach Drill for Recruits (once qualification is held).

4. To assist in the delivery of training in support of JNCOs in area such as SAA TCCC PT and Fieldcraft.

5. To assist in the delivery of ranges as either an RCO or as safety.

6. To maintain Platoon discipline and to mentor and develop the Training Team JNCOs.

7. Responsible to manage the welfare of the recruits and Permanent Staff ensuring they receive adequate support.

8. To provide advice to and deputise for the Platoon Commander as required.

9. To supervise/validate JNCO instructional delivery for their Platoon.
