Job Summary
Travel Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Operating Room (Days)
Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Operating Room for a 13-week travel assignment in Wausau WI.
Contract Details
- M-F various day shifts
- Start Date: 04/20/2026
- Guaranteed Hours per Week: 40 hours guaranteed
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Location: Wausau WI
- Hourly Pay: $ 48.00
- Non-taxed Stipend: $1246.00
- Weekly Total Pay: $2686.00
- Radius Rule: traveler must be outside 50 miles from facility
- On Call/Call-Back: On Call/Call-Back: 1 night of call per week 1 weekend per month 1 back up per week. Could on occasion need additional call. Response time is 30 minutes ready in the OR. A Vehicle is required for this position due to the 30 minute response time.
- Weekend/Holiday: Every 3rd-4th weekend and holiday rotation
- Charting/Equipment: Epic required ;Cell Saver Belmont required
- Unit Specific Skillset: 21 ORs including all specialties. 4-5 Rooms per day will be assigned.
- Scrub Colors: provided
- 2 Week Orientation process with training for additional anesthesia skills as needed
** GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week except during holidays where the unit is closed.
** During the flu season any traveler who declines flu and COVID vaccination is required to wear a mask always. This is policy and compliance is mandatory (No exceptions). Failure to follow the policy may result in corrective action.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clearly and correctly document all care and services provided completing nurse duties professionally and on time.
- Assist providers and other staff as needed anticipating the needs of these individuals to ensure efficient and quality patient care.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to be an effective resource for their patients providers and fellow clinic staff.
- Assist with intubations fiber optic scopes during intubation sterile techniques with central lines
- Assist Anesthesiologist with placement of arterial lines central lines lumbar drains Swan Ganz catheters starting IVs drawing labs setting up medication pumps running Belmont Cell Saver and Level I.
- Assist our anesthesia providers throughout a variety of specialties with a main focus on the cardiothoracic program.
- Assist in Anesthesia with heart surgeries traumas elective surgeries and general surgeries.
Compensation:
- Weekly Pay (hourly) Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have 3 year OR experience with anesthesia experience
- Strong OR /CVOR Circulating experience;
- Prior experience with conscious sedation is a plus.
- Must have AHA or ARC BLS ACLS is required
- Prior travel REQUIRED
- WI RN License or compact RN required.
- Must be a hard worker resilient and manage change well social candidates.
- Must have critical thinking skills motivated strong knowledge of all OR cases.
- Strong communication professionalism and reliability
