Job Summary
As a Technical Writer for our Global Parts Division you will be responsible for developing and maintaining technical documentation to support our divisions workshop operations. This includes creating and updating product descriptions user manuals installation guides and other technical documents for various products used in the automotive aftermarket. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including buyers developers and technicians to ensure the accuracy and consistency of all technical materials.
Your Role & Responsibilities
Create and maintain technical documentation such as product descriptions user manuals and installation guides for various products used in the automotive aftermarket.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including buyers developers and technicians to ensure the accuracy and consistency of all technical materials.
Provide training and guidance to other writers and staff on technical writing best practices and standards.
Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to technical writing processes.
Your Profile
Previous technical education experience is required.
Experience with technical writing is a plus.
Strong knowledge of technical writing principles and best practices.
Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail and the ability to write clearly and concisely.
Ability to communicate ideas effectively and collaborate with others.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is required.
Knowledge of automotive aftermarket products and terminology is a plus.
You have a good knowledge of Dutch and English.
