Monday through Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm

JOB DUTIES:

Supports the provider in a variety of patient care duties and performs related clerical duties in accordance with the area assigned
Rooms patients collects vitals and records all medical information in the patients EMR
Prepares exam rooms for providers use collects specimens administers and documents all prescribed OTC medication and drug samples per protocols
Maintains equipment and medical supplies
Performs administrative/clerical duties such as filing phone calls and faxing

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
High school graduate or GED
At least one year of work experience in a medical office setting
Knowledge of medical office procedures and insurance verification
Ability to demonstrate a mature dependable and responsible approach when interacting with patients physicians co-workers and additional outside sources
