This role is essential to ensuring reliable safe and efficient wastewater treatment operations for both new and existing fabs. As a Facilities Wastewater Engineer you will influence system design support construction and commissioning and partner closely with operations to keep complex treatment systems performing at a high level. Youll collaborate across engineering construction and manufacturing teams while helping shape the longterm sustainability of our Boise operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering support for design construction commissioning and operation of semiconductor wastewater reclaim and zero liquid discharge systems

  • Review and validate designs calculations equipment submittals RFIs shop drawings and construction models

  • Partner with operations and technicians to monitor system performance using SPC IoT and SCADA tools

  • Support system modifications upgrades solving problems and vendor coordination

  • Drive safety quality reliability and cost improvement initiatives across wastewater systems

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Chemical Engineering Environmental Engineering Chemistry or a related field

  • Three or more years of experience supporting wastewater or industrial treatment systems

  • Working knowledge of safety laws environmental compliance and hazardous energy control

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across technical teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in engineering or Professional Engineer certification

  • Three or more years of facilities or plant operations experience in semiconductor manufacturing

  • Experience with commissioning capacity planning and system performance optimization

  • Experience working with vendors on equipment design documentation and service support
