Responsibilities and Impact:
- End-to-End Development:Lead the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC) encompassing architecture design development testing deployment and support of technology solutions.
- Agile Practices:Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies ensuring adherence to best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Technical Leadership:Serve as a development team lead driving the creation of high-quality scalable and high-performance code while mentoring team members to achieve excellence.
- Technical Design:Produce detailed technical design documents conduct walkthroughs and collaborate on solutions through diagrams prototypes and stubbed code.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to align development efforts with business objectives.
- Production Support:Proactively respond to and resolve production issues ensuring system reliability and performance.
What Were Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or equivalent work experience
- 10 years of hands-on experience in application development with proven technical leadership capabilities
- Strong proficiency in Java Spring frameworks (such as Spring Boot) and microservices architecture design
- Experience with frontend technologies such as React Angular HTML5 and CSS
- Demonstrated expertise in Agile methodologies test-driven development and full SDLC management
- Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (EC2 S3 Lambda or similar services)
- Team Leadership:Proven ability to lead high-performing teams inspire collaboration and drive results.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Financial Industry and Capital Markets domain
- Advanced knowledge of XML technologies including XSLT XPath XQuery and XML Schema (XSD)
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and CI/CD pipeline tools
- Python programming experience and familiarity with data modeling concepts
