About these roles:
- Wells Fargo is seeking Engineering Associates for the Chief Technology OfficewithinthePlatform Front Line (PFL) group and the Database and Middleware Operations (DMO) team.
In these roles you will:
- Participate in the design development integration testing deployment and support of technology solutions for complex and challenging business requirements
- Understand Software Development Lifecycle process quality security and compliance requirements
- Support implementation of moderate to complex projects
- Develop skills in a specific domain with training
- Understand compliance and risk management requirements for supported area
- Receive direction from a manager and exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for the supported area
- Collaborate and consult with peers colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with internal customers
Required Qualifications:
- 6 months of Technology Engineering and Solutions experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education
Desired Qualifications:
- Exposure to Business Intelligence / Analytics tools (MicrosoftPowerBI Grafana Tableau etc.)
- Exposure to UNIX/Linux (RHEL or Solaris) and Windows Server
- Exposure or Mongo Oracle or SQL Server
- Knowledge on Mainframe infrastructure or batch processing
- Knowledge of Virtualized environments(VMware)
- Experience usingServiceNowor similar enterprise incident/problem management tools
- Ability to follow documented procedures to complete the tasks at hand
- Problem solving skills
- Documentation skills - experience documenting and explaining the approach or methodology that allowed them to solve a problem or reach a conclusion
Job Expectations:
- This position currently offers a hybrid work schedule
- Ability to work on-site at one of the posted locations
