Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced MarineElectricians/fitters to join a World class builder of award winning Yachts in the luxury Marine Industry based in New Zealand. We are continually expanding our team to meet demands of a growing portfolio of projects.
Your Role:
Youll be working across a variety of electrical systems on marine vessels and super yachts including installation maintenance and fault finding on AC/DC circuits battery systems anchor winches and general onboard electrics solar and everything from wiring and lighting navigation systems engines and communication equipment.
Your Requirements will include:
- Proven marine electrical experience (boats yachts or vessels)
- Strong understanding of AC/DC systems lighting pumps and auxiliary systems
- Experience with navigation and communication brands such as Simrad Garmin Lowrance or Raymarine
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
What you will need:
- 3 years post trade experience
- Hold an Electrician or Electrical Fitter Qualification
- Work Safely at Heights Certificate
- Confined Spaces Certificate
