Job Description
We are currently recruiting individual for the position of Cash Allocation Specialist to join team within the Global Financial Operations Team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently under pressure to meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Post and apply multi-currency customer receipts to customer accounts daily investigate and resolve customer allocation queries in a timely manner
- Meet tight deadlines while managing a high volume of payment postings with accuracy and efficiency
- Conduct through analysis to identify and resolve payment discrepancies
- Resolve cash posting issues working cross functionally to resolve any issues
- Documentation and maintenance of team processes and procedures
- Managing a shared mailbox receiving a wide variety of requests and queries
- Participate in adhoc projects
Skills/Experience
- Proven experience as a Cash Allocation Specialist or similar role
- Educated to third level business qualification not required but beneficial
- Excel Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel including experience with formulas pivot tables VLOOKUP and data sorting/filtering
- Attention to detail with an ability to work in an environment where compliance with processes procedures & SLAs is paramount
- Experience working in a fast-paced high-volume payment posting environment
- Strong problem-solving skills to resolve payment discrepancies and balance-related issues
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with internal teams
- Be proactive and innovative with ideas to improve service
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work in an organized manner
- Ability to handle high volumes of transactions with accuracy
- Be a self-starter who is motivated innovative and ambitious
- The energy passion and drive to make it happen
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables and adapt to changing priorities
Location expectations
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
