Coordinator Boys Athletic & Head Football Coach

Employment Term (days): 220

Pay Scale: Administrative - Instructional 5

Primary Purpose:

Direct and manage the campus extracurricular athletic program and oversee football program.

Provide instruction and coach students to develop skills and ability to excel in sport (s) assigned.

Contribute to education as a whole and to growth of students involved in athletics.

Qualification Guidelines:

Education/Certifications:

Bachelors degree

Valid Texas Teaching certificate

Current first aid CPR & AED certification

Experience:

Experience working as a High School Offensive or Defensive Coordinator

Head Football Coaching experience (preferred)

Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge of coaching techniques and procedures

Knowledge of University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules

Ability to instruct and supervise student athletes

Excellent organizational communication and interpersonal skills

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Direct the athletic work of coaches on assigned campus

Assign and oversee assistant coaches & student athletic assistants work completion
