What youll do
Lead support planning and coordinate our Support Workers to deliver person-centred support
Balance support safeguarding admin and meetings while guiding colleagues and managing caseloads
Support Customers with daily tasks like budgeting cooking and attending appointments
Work with multi-agency teams to safeguard and empower our customers
Help customers build independence and prepare for their move-on into the community

You have
Passion and experience in supporting others ideally in a supported housing setting
Level 3 Diploma in Care or equivalent experience (or are willing to work towards it)
Experience assessing referrals and coordinating support
The ability to work under your own initiative remain calm under pressure and have a resilient approach
The ability to work as part of a dynamic experienced team have a great sense of humour and have the ability to deliver support in a fast paced service.

The practical bits
This role is Permanent part time (30 hpw) exact working days to be discussed at interview (3 days of 7.5 hrs per day) to usually be worked Monday to Fri between 9am and 5pm. However we do ask for some flexibility regarding weekend or evening working depending on the needs of the customers/Service.
Your base will be Newquay (based at Edgecumbe Avenue Service). As this is an Outreach/Community Based position the role will be carried out in Mid Cornwall and the surrounding area with some admin time based in Service.
Although youll lone work we do get together regularly for assessments training and team meetings.
You need an Enhanced DBS with barring list (we pay)
A vehicle insured for business use (and a license!) well pay for any business mileage
