Education: Bachelors degree. Current valid South Dakota Teaching Certificate.
Experience: Three years of teaching experience; 5 years preferred.

Collaborate with colleagues within and across content areas grade levels and other instructional coaches.
Demonstrate knowledge of best practices and commitment to continued growth as a professional educator.
Share research best practices resources and emerging trends aligned with district curriculum.
Guide and assist teachers in selecting strategies resources and materials that promote student engagement learning and critical thinking based on diverse student populations and readiness levels.
Assist teachers in developing a comprehensive understanding of subject content and how instruction and assessment align with curriculum standards.
Build teachers capacity to utilize a variety of data to make informed decisions about instructional practices and high-impact strategies.
Support teachers development and implementation of effective instructional strategies by co-teaching modeling observing and providing feedback.
Engage teachers in reflective thinking while looking at their own instructional practices critically and analytically.
Assist building and district administration in identifying programmatic growth areas and facilitating learning opportunities for district teachers.
Serve as a mentor to 6th-12th grade teachers who qualify for the state mentor program.
Assists in coordinating induction for new to district teachers.
Performs other duties as assigned.
