Shift: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM
Schedule: Rotating 12-hour and 16-hour shifts (including every other weekend)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging in a dynamic clinical environment. The role involves working with a diverse patient population across emergency inpatient and outpatient settings with a focus on delivering accurate imaging and ensuring patient safety.

Responsibilities

Perform CT scans and X-ray imaging according to established protocols
Administer and monitor contrast studies as required
Ensure patient safety proper positioning and image quality
Evaluate images for diagnostic accuracy and completeness
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with safety standards

Clinical Environment

Patient Population: Emergency Department Inpatient Outpatient
Common Cases: Trauma Neuro Orthopedic and Emergency imaging
Average Volume: 1220 scans per technologist per shift

Philips Incisive CT
Philips Spectral CT
Philips C-90 X-ray
GE portable X-ray units
OEC C-arms

Schedule Details

Weekday coverage with multiple technologists during peak hours
Weekend shifts include extended hours (16-hour shifts)
No on-call requirements

Required Qualifications

ARRT (R)(CT) certification
BLS certification
Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License
New York State Injection License (for IV contrast administration)
