At NutrecoTrouwNutritionwe are accelerating our transition toward a globally led organization with stronger central governance across our product portfolio. As part of this transformation we are creating a new role: Global Category Leader Mixed Products & Young Animal Feed (YAF).
This role willestablishglobal ownershipand governanceover two diverseandstrategicproduct areas: Mixed Products (including premixfarmmineraland concentrates) and Young Animal Feed (YAF).In addition you will define and drive global category strategies ensuring alignment with overall businessandfinancialsobjectives. Establish governance frameworks processes and guidelines to create consistency across regions and business units while bringing structure to a fragmented portfolio through harmonization of products suppliers and value propositions.
You will lead the optimization and rationalization of the portfoliowhileshifting the category from volume driven selling to outcomebased value creation. Strongchangemanagement mindset is expected andinfluential skills for thecoordination of support functionslikeprocurementR&DNutrition & FormulationIntelligencedigitalandcommercialteamsto strengthenTrouwNutritionbundledpositioning andvalue delivery(including products anddigitalservices).
Reporting to theProduct Marketing Directorthe Category Lead for Mixed Products & YAFis responsible forturning a complex portfolio into a focused valuedrivenglobal category with clear strategic choices disciplinedgovernanceandstrong regional execution.
The role alsoincludesmanagement of a small team of product managers.
This role requires a strategic yet hands-on leader who canoperateeffectively in a complex evolving environment.
Whowerelooking for
The successful candidate will bring structure strategy and governance to these categories driving alignment across business units and regions.
Youllalso need:
Masters degree in Veterinary Science Agriculture AnimalScienceor a related field
Strongexpertisein mixed products (premix concentrates) is essential; YAF experience is a plus.
Proven experience in category management productmanagementwithinanimal nutrition feed or livestock industries.
Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate high-level direction into actionable plans.
Solidbusiness& financialacumen including pricing margin management and supplier negotiations
Proven experience with people management
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills; able to lead without full hierarchical authority
Strong analytical capabilities; able to synthesize large volumes of data into insights andactions
Experienceoperatingin global matrix organizations with multiple stakeholders.
Experience leading multicultural and geographically dispersed teams.
