Job Summary
The Department of Anesthesiology Perioperative and Pain Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking a Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join two current senior faculty.
The Mount Sinai Kravis Childrens Hospital is ranked among the countrys top childrens hospitals in three pediatric specialties by U.S. News and World Report and has a growing Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Program including a very active cardiac catheterization laboratory.
The ideal candidate will have formal training in pediatric cardiac anesthesiology or have sufficient cardiac anesthesiology experience caring for neonates and older pediatric patients with congenital cardiac disease. The ability to work collegially in an environment that is multidisciplinary and stresses teamwork is critical. There will be extensive resident and fellow educational responsibility. This position may be limited solely to pediatric cardiac anesthesiology or combined with general pediatric anesthesiology too.

Qualifications
- Must be able to hold an active NY State Medical License
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology with Fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia of equivalent experience and expertise
- Commitment to Mount Sinais mission vision and approach in order to ensure a patient-centric culture which is collaborative and multidisciplinary
- A passion for working with young people and a work ethic in which a commitment to understanding and solving the needs of each patient is a priority
- Must be trained in providing evidence-based treatment interventions with focus on achieving measurable positive outcomes

Compensation range from $700K to $725K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors including experience specialties historical productivity historical collections and hospital/community need. As such an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range and in certain circumstances may wind up being outside of the listed salary range.
