Job Summary
Job Site: Kokomo Schools - Multiple Sites
Hours/Days: 40 hours per week260 days (12 months)
Hourly Rate: $25.25 per hour
Benefits: Group insurance programs PERF paid leave days
Responsibilities:
Perform repairs replacement and preventive maintenance of Kokomo School Corporation equipment and structures. Responsible as lead role based on superior experience and expertise while primarily performing electrical plumbing and HVAC also include installing assembling and maintaining piping systems read and interpret blueprints cut and thread pipes to specifications and test systems for leaks. Also responsible for repairing and modifying existing systems as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of Pipefitting apprenticeship or equivalent training.
- Five(5) years experience in a service-oriented role.
- Overall knowledge of tools and materials associated with the trades.
- Should possess good communication skills and be able to function in a team setting.
Applicant must be physically able to lift 75 pounds including but not limited to furniture educational materials bagged trash and supplies. Applicant must be able to follow instructions by reading instructions by supervisors product labels and training manuals. Applicant must possess a strong work ethic and good attitude. Applicant should be clean and neat in appearance.
