Job Summary
This position involves planning organizing coordinating directing and controlling all contract functions between Mesa Energy Systems and our client for small projects. This role will also assist and back up Project Managers for larger HVAC retrofit construction projects.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and maintain project schedules
Create and manage design submittals RFIs and change orders
Work with the Quality Control manager to create review and edit required quality control documents
Manage designers subcontractors and vendors to ensure required design & installation information (is provided correctly and on-time.
Review subcontractor & engineering performance and provide feedback to the Project Manager.
Coordinates purchase of necessary supplies equipment and services from appropriate sources and maintains proper inventory control maintenance and consumable supplies.
Authority to review and approve design submittals to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in engineering construction management or business management.
3 years working experience in HVAC or building controls.
Must have knowledge of submitting written proposals scopes of work scheduling and coordinating site contractors and other assigned personnel; a thorough understanding of preventive maintenance schedules and operations and the ability to meet demanding customer requirements.
Must have strong verbal and listening communication skills and excellent telephone etiquette as well as professional friendly demeanor.
Proven ability to multi-task and handle a high volume of work with extreme accuracy and adjust to changing priorities.
The ability to anticipate needs and solve job related problems independently and act with appropriate urgency.
Advanced MS Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint skills
Must possess valid drivers license and meet MVR requirements to operate company vehicle.
