Job Summary

Title: ER Advisor

Contract Type: 1x Permanent and 2 x FTC (12 months)

Salary: from 42149 per annum (London weighted salary) or from 37573 per annum (Regional salary) dependant on experience

Grade: 8

Reporting Office: London Stratford or Manchester Trafford

Agile Worker: 20% - 40% of contractual hours to be worked from reporting office/working location (hybrid working)

Join our ER Team at L&Q:

At L&Q our Employee Relations team plays a critical role in supporting the business through change challenge and growth. We are looking for 3 experienced Employee Relations Advisors to join us two for a minimum of 12 month fixed term contracts and 1 permanent position supporting a high volume of ER activities across a large multi-site organisation

This is an opportunity to step into a role where:

  • Youll be part of a team that is collaborative supportive and outcome-focused

Your impact in the role:

  • Managing a diverse and complex ER caseload (disciplinary grievance absence performance and more)
  • Providing clear pragmatic and commercially aware advice to managers
  • Taking full ownership of cases from initial advice through to resolution
  • Supporting managers to build confidence and capability in handling ER matters
  • Identifying trends and contributing to continuous improvement across ER practices

What youll bring:

  • Have strong experience managing end-to-end ER casework in a complex organisation
  • Demonstrate solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Be confident in challenging and influencing stakeholders at different levels
  • Thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
  • Be highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands
  • Communicate clearly and professionally particularly in sensitive or high-risk situations
