Someone with the right attitude some hands-on or technical foundation and the drive to learn but whoisntfully qualified yet.


Think of it as the stage between:Apprentice (learning basics) Improver (building practical competence) Qualified Engineer.

As an Escalator Improveryoullsupport experienced engineers in the installation andmodernisationof escalator systems nationwide. This is a site-based role whereyoullwork alongside skilled engineers to deliver safe high-quality installations learning KONE methods and industry best practice.

Youllassistwith installing escalator components preparing materials supporting mechanical and electrical works and ensuring tools and equipment aremaintainedcorrectly.Youllgain hands-on experience across a variety of escalator systems helping to ensure projects are delivered safely efficiently and to a high standard.Youllalso play a key role inmaintaininga safe working environment and supporting effective communication on-site with colleagues contractors and customers.

This is a development-focused role whereyoullbuild strong technical skills gain a solid understanding of safety standards and work towards becoming a fully qualified Escalator Engineer.

The team is based in Keighley; however you may belocatedanywhere in the UK with occasional visits to Keighley. You will alsobe requiredto work away from home on projects across the UK.

Whatwerelooking for:

  • Some experience within the escalator industry or a relevant mechanical/electrical engineering background

  • Full UK drivinglicence

  • Flexibility to travel and work away regularly
