Job Summary
Position Description:
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Cyber Security Engineer (L3) responsible for designing implementing and managing security solutions to protect enterprise systems networks and data. The role requires expertise in security operations threat detection vulnerability management and cloud security.
Key Responsibilities:
Security Operations & Monitoring:
- Monitor security events using SIEM tools
- Investigate and respond to incidents
- Perform root cause analysis and remediation
Threat & Vulnerability Management:
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Manage patching and remediation
- Implement threat detection mechanisms
Cloud & Network Security:
- Secure Azure/AWS/GCP environments
- Implement network security controls (firewalls IDS/IPS)
- Ensure secure configurations and access control
Application & Data Security:
- Implement secure coding practices
- Conduct security reviews and testing
- Ensure data protection and encryption
Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure compliance with security standards (ISO 27001 NIST etc.)
- Support audits and documentation
- Implement IAM and access control policies
Primary Skills:
- Cyber Security fundamentals
- SIEM tools (Splunk QRadar Sentinel)
- Vulnerability management tools
- Network security concepts
- Cloud security (Azure/AWS/GCP)
- Incident response
Secondary Skills:
- DevSecOps practices
- Scripting (Python PowerShell)
- Container security (Docker Kubernetes)
- Zero Trust architecture
- Threat intelligence tools
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Cyber Security or related field
Experience Requirements:
- 58 years of experience in Cyber Security
- Experience in SOC incident response or security engineering
- Exposure to cloud security
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical thinking
- Good communication
- Team collaboration
Certifications (Preferred):
- CEH CISSP CISM Security
- Azure/AWS Security certifications
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Strong hands-on security engineer
- Experience in enterprise security operations
- Ability to handle incidents and improve security posture
