Position Summary

The Process Manufacturing Engineer II is responsible for managing all aspects of facility infrastructure and maintenance operations within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures the reliability and efficiency of building systems utilities and production equipment while leading the maintenance team to deliver high performance and minimize downtime. The position also oversees compliance with safety environmental and regulatory standards in alignment with EHS guidelines and drives continuous improvement initiatives to support operational excellence and sustainability goals.

Duties

  • Lead coach and develop the maintenance team to ensure high performance and technical expertise.
  • Assign tasks monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Supervises plans and administers department activities providing a safe work environment
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of facility systems including HVAC electrical plumbing and structural components. Ensure optimal performance of utilities and building infrastructure.
  • Develop Implement and Drive a maintenance plan & program to meet operational requirements focused to minimize the down time in production. Manage the maintenance and repairs of plant equipment such as waste water treatment filling lines osmosis systems printing equipment utility systems air handling systems etc.
  • Plan PMs rectify production breakdowns and follow inspection routines according to SOP and schedule.
  • Ensure that all records of repair are documented.
  • Plan and execute facility improvement projects including renovations expansions and equipment installations.
  • Coordinate with contractors vendors and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations related to building codes safety and environmental standards in agreement with EHS Manager evaluation.
  • Prepare and manage facility budgets track expenses and report on cost-saving initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of facility operations maintenance schedules and project progress.
  • Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and sustainability within the facility.

Education Degree

Bachelors Degree in Engineering General

Required Experience

  1. Proven experience in facility and maintenance engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  2. Proven experience in team leadership and project management.
  3. Experience with Capital Improvement projects.
  4. Experience with regulations and compliance with EPA OSHA FDA and MDSAP.
  5. Solid experience in technical problems solving.
  6. Experience in LEAN Methodologies.
  7. Experience managing a maintenance team
  8. Leadership and team development skills.
  9. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  10. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  11. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  12. Fluent English speaking
