Job Summary
Job Position: Buyer

Job Descriptions:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for components and materials required for our products.
- Identify and qualify new suppliers and manage existing supplier relationships to ensure optimal performance and cost savings.
- Negotiate and manage supplier contracts ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering Quality and Operations to identify and address supply chain risks and opportunities.
- Manage inventory levels and lead times ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing inventory carrying costs.
- Monitor and report on supplier performance identifying areas for improvement and working with suppliers to address any issues.
- Collaborate with the Logistics team to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of components and materials.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier and inventory databases.
- Participate in regular supplier performance reviews and annual supplier evaluations.
- Stay informed of industry trends and developments and share insights with the wider business.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in supply chain management Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 0-5 years of experience in a Buyer role in the semiconductor industry with a proven track record of delivering cost savings and supplier performance improvements.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
