Job Summary

Womens Care was founded in 1998 by a small group of obstetrics and gynecology physicians in Tampa. Today our organization has grown to over 100 locations in numerous states by remaining true to its mission of improving the health and lives of our patients every day.
The Sonographer for our MFM (Maternal Fetal Medicine) clinic performs ultrasound examinations and records the findings. This includes routine ultrasound exams as well as specialized procedures as directed.
- Performs nuchal translucency scans per established standards and guidelines.
- Completes fetal surveys.
- Performs hysterosonograms as well as 3D-4D scans.
- Assists with IUD checks amniocentesis and other related procedures.
- Evaluates the images for their qualitybut also interprets what was captured in the image.
- Documents/updates information in patients electronic medical record.
- Represents clinic in a professional manner. Treats all customers internal and external in a courteous and cooperative manner.
- Attends required meetings and participates in team activities and professional development activities.
- Demonstrates and embodies the Womens Care mission and core values.
- Compliance with all HIPAA rules regulations and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid OB/GYN ARDMS certification.
- Minimum of 2years of recent MFM experience.
- Experience with 3D-4D scans.
- Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a stressful deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to communicate with coworkers providers and patients in a courteous and effective manner.
- Ability to use a computer and enter data in electronic medical record system eCW a plus.
- Must be dependable reliable and punctual.
