Job Summary
Location: Maple Valley Washington (Seattle Area)
A well-established not-for-profit healthcare system in the Seattle area is actively seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (Urgent Care APP) to join its growing patient-centered urgent care team in Maple Valley Washington. This is a collaborative fast-paced environment serving a diverse patient population with strong clinical support and modern facilities.
The organization participates in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.
Position Overview
Provide high-quality walk-in urgent care services for patients of all ages
Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries
Perform procedures such as suturing splinting incision & drainage and wound care
Order and interpret diagnostic tests including labs and imaging
Manage common urgent conditions such as infections respiratory illnesses minor fractures and lacerations
Collaborate closely with physicians APPs nursing staff and support teams
Ensure efficient patient flow while maintaining excellent patient satisfaction
Educate patients on treatment plans medications and follow-up care
Qualifications
Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Active or eligible for Washington State licensure
Active/eligible DEA registration
Prior urgent care emergency medicine or primary care experience preferred
Comfortable treating patients across the lifespan
Strong clinical decision-making and procedural skills
