Job Summary
Position Overview
Now hiring CDL-A drivers for a dedicated heavy haul position running out of Sumner WA. This is a high-volume account with consistent freight established lanes and strong weekly earning potential.
Drivers run east and south routes with all freight returning to Sumner.
Pay & Compensation
- Average: $1400$1800 per week
- Base pay loaded mileage rate (up to $0.62 CPM depending on experience)
- $15 stop pay
- Weekly mileage: miles
- Performance bonus available (DPP eligible)
- Additional pay:
- Short haul pay (same as OTR)
- Potential extra pay based on loaded mile scale
Route & Freight Details
- Dedicated routes out of Sumner WA
- Running lanes East and South
- All loads return to Sumner
- Freight includes:
- Preloaded trailers
- Some drop and hook
- Live unload (efficient and timely)
- Customer located near terminal for faster turnarounds
Schedule & Home Time
- Home time options:
- Weekly
- Every few days (varies by route)
- 34-hour resets available
- Day and night shifts available
- Weekend work required
- Must be willing to work holidays if account is operating
Equipment & Job Details
- Heavy haul freight
- Chaining may be required
- Mix of preload live unload and drop/hook
Hiring Area
- Must live within 50 miles of hiring area
- Hiring from:
- All major cities in Washington
- Western Idaho (near Coeur dAlene & Clarkston)
Requirements
- CDL-A license required (6 months experience)
- Must meet experience requirements
- No endorsements required
