Job Summary
CLASS A CDL DRIVER FEED MILL
Opal Foods is looking for a Local Class A CDL Driver.This position is responsible for safely hauling loads of feed to various company facilities and contract farms while maintaining compliance with all company policies DOT rules and governmental regulations.
Position Responsibilities:
- Complete feed orders by printing feed tickets examining each order filling trailer with correct feed mixture and delivering them to the correct location into the designated feed bin.
- Maintain feed tickets fuel tickets daily feed delivery records feed logs and DOT inspection reports.
- Communicate with Feed Mill Operators and Supervisor to ensure accuracy and to report issues.
- Clean up feed spills and communicate with farm managers to ensure proper removal.
- Maintain basic upkeep on trucks complete DOT required inspections communicate to feed mill manager and coordinate completion of needed repairs.
- Report any traffic violations per CDL policies and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and government regulations including biosecurity safety and DOT policies.
- Other duties and projects as need to support operational objectives
Requirements: (knowledge experience skills education)
- Class A CDL
- Clean Accident/Driving History
- Read write and speak in English
- Must demonstrate good work ethic
