Drillers Offsider

Canstaffare currently recruiting for their leading Drill Exploration client who has projects across Western Australiafor a 2/1 FIFO roster.

We are offering excellent hourly rates forDriller Offsidersto work in RC Drilling Exploration .

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure drill rigs machinery and equipment and effectively operated to optimise profitability of the sites operations
• Ensure highest levels of quality is maintained and report any maintenance faults or issues
• Work with minimal supervision and in a coordinated manner with peers
• Demonstrate visible safe working practices and a commitment to safety in the workplace

• Handling Drill rods and core tubes
• Mixing Drill fluid additives
• Mobilising rigs from one set up to another
• Changing drill bits and rods
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment

To be considered for these roles you will be required to:

• Be physically fit and strong and able to work 12 hour days in harsh climates
• Hold a valid HR class manual drivers licence
• Ideally hold a First Aid Certificate
• have previous Drillers Offsider experience
• Ideally hold a Working at Heights card
• Pass a Pre-Employment medical including extensive Musculoskeletal and Fitness Assessment and Lab Drug and Alcohol Screen
• Hold a National Police Clearance no older than 12 months or willing to obtain one
• Drilling experience - blast hole exploration or water bore considered
• Dangerous Goods license
