Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Joiner to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing repairing and maintaining wooden structures and fixtures as well as working on bespoke joinery projects. This position requires excellent skills in carpentry woodworking and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Joinery Work: Perform a variety of joinery tasks including creating wooden structures doors windows stairs and furniture.
Installation: Install wooden fixtures frameworks and panels as required ensuring a high level of quality and accuracy.
Repairs: Carry out repairs to existing woodwork including windows doors and flooring.
Cutting & Shaping: Measure cut and shape timber and other materials according to project specifications.
Safety & Quality: Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Client Interaction: Communicate with clients as needed to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress.
Collaboration: Work closely with other team members including other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
Key Skills & Requirements:
Excellent knowledge of joinery techniques and use carpentry tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good understanding of health and safety standards.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills.
Valid driving license
