We have an opportunity for a Podiatrist to join their team of staff in thePhysiotherapy department.
This is a bank role working on an as and when required basis you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.
Duties of this role include:
Conduct comprehensive podiatric assessments including gait analysis biomechanical evaluations and neurovascular screening.
Diagnose and manage a variety of foot and lower limb conditions such as nail pathologies skin lesions musculoskeletal abnormalities and diabetic foot complications.
Deliver care that supports the prevention of falls ulceration and amputation particularly in high-risk groups such as those with diabetes or vascular disease.
Work closely with physiotherapists nurses GPs orthopaedic consultants and other health professionals to deliver coordinated care.
Maintain accurate up-to-date and confidential clinical records in line with HCPC organisational and GDPR requirements.
Educate patients carers and staff on foot health and risk prevention strategies.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
BSc (Hons) Podiatry or equivalent qualification.
HCPC registration as a Podiatrist.
Strong clinical assessment treatment and care planning skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
