Job Description:
The Transcriptionist role at CSI Engineering USA involves transcribing audio recordings into written documents for various engineering projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely documentation of important project details.
Job Responsibilities:
- Transcribe audio recordings into written documents with accuracy and attention to detail
- Proofread and edit transcriptions to ensure quality and consistency
- Manage transcription projects efficiently and meet deadlines
- Coordinate with team members to clarify any unclear audio or technical terms
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information
Essential Qualifications:
- Proficient typing skills with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent command of the English language including grammar and punctuation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow guidelines and instructions
- Good listening skills and ability to understand diverse accents
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in transcription or related field
- Familiarity with transcription software and tools
- Experience working in an engineering or technical environment is a plus
- Experience transcribing various types of audio recordings including meetings interviews and technical discussions
