Job Summary
Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) 13 Week Assignment Benchmark Therapies Location: Asbury Methodist Village in Gaithersburg MD Setting: Senior Living Community (SNF Assisted Living Independent Living) Assignment Length: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP Schedule: 35-40 hours/week At Benchmark Therapies we believe great therapy starts with great people and that includes you. This 13-week travel assignment gives you the opportunity to work across a full continuum of care within a senior living community allowing you to make a meaningful impact while experiencing something new. This isn t just about filling a role. It s about joining a team that takes pride in what they do and how they show up for their patients and each other. What You ll Be Doing Provide speech language cognitive and swallowing therapy across SNF AL and IL settings Evaluate residents and build individualized goal-driven treatment plans Collaborate closely with your interdisciplinary team to support the whole patient Document clearly and efficiently using EMR systems Educate residents families and caregivers to promote carryover and long-term success Contribute to a positive team-oriented therapy environment What We re Looking For Master s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active MD state license Experience in senior living or skilled nursing settings is helpful but not required Someone who communicates well adapts easily and genuinely cares about their patients Who You ll Be Working With Senior residents across all three care settings on campus A mix of short-term rehab and long-term care Diagnoses include stroke dementia Parkinson s disease dysphagia and post-acute conditions
