DevOps Platforms Engineer

Netcompany is looking for talented DevOps Engineers to join our growing Cloud Operations Team and help enhance the support delivery and evolution of our Netcompany Platforms this role you will help build highperforming resilient and secure services for our clients working alongside a skilled and forwardthinking engineering community.

As a DevOps Engineer you will be central to designing implementing and operating cloudbased solutions for a wide range of highprofile clients. Youll apply your expertise in cloud architecture Infrastructure as Code automation and Kubernetes to deliver scalable reliable and secure platforms that meet the demands of complex enterprise environments.

Essential

• Effective communication skills. You will work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced business sector.
• Ability to plan organise and clearly report progress and issues.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
• Must be willing to do UK-based travel for projects
• Right to work in the UK
• Ability to achieve UK Security Clearance
   

The candidate is required to demonstrate an understanding of the following areas:

• Identity and access management cloud networking and cloud security best practices in Azure or AWS.
• Implementation and management of Infrastructure as Code in enterprise environments.
• Containerisation and orchestration with Kubernetes
• Experienced using Azure DevOps GitHub Actions GitLab or similar CI/CD tools to design and implement pipelines
• Ability to automate complex solutions using scripting/programming languages
• Experience designing and implementing robust monitoring solutions and advanced alerting strategies using tools such as Prometheus Grafana or Azure Monitor as well as log aggregation and observability using the ELK or EFK stack for Kubernetes environments.

Desirable

• Implemented disaster recovery and high-availability solutions for critical systems.
• Exposure to multi-cloud architectures and hybrid cloud solutions
• Understanding of cloud costoptimisation strategies
• Relevant Azure or AWS certifications such as:
  • AZ 104 Azure Administrator
  • AZ 400 DevOps Engineer Expert
  • AWS Solutions Architect Associate
  • AWS SysOps Administrator Associate
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) qualification.
