Job Summary
- Lead and scale Scalable Capitals Accounting function covering German GAAP (HGB/RechKredV) and IFRS requirements
- Design standardize and automate accounting processes across existing and new workstreams to improve efficiency quality and control
- Own and drive cross-functional accounting projects coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners (e.g. auditors tax advisors) and continuously improve the accounting process landscape
- Take end-to-end responsibility for the monthly and annual close including monthly tax reporting and support for related reporting requirements
- Contribute to the design of booking logic and posting patterns within our in-house core banking system ensuring accurate and scalable accounting treatment
Qualifications :
- Extensive experience in financial accounting under German GAAP (HGB) and in handling tax-related matters
- Proven hands-on experience in preparing (consolidated) annual financial statements and managing the external audit process
- Solid knowledge of tax-relevant accounting topics e.g. VAT and related reporting requirements.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with a structured precise working style and strong problem-solving skills
- Business-fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
