Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented People Advisor to support our growing People function in North America.

This role will assist in key People initiatives support the Head of People in the jurisdiction take ownership of daily operational responsibilities and contribute to enhancing the employee experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate eager to learn and capable of managing multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment. This role supports stakeholders in North America. Working hours are therefore aligned to US time zones typically starting later in the day (approx. 12:0020:00 CET).

Role Responsibilities & Key Focus

Support for Head of People / People Business Partner

  • Preparing data and information for reporting (PowerBI Workday risk reporting)

  • Supporting with audits reports statistics analytics and meeting preparation

  • Build strong relationships with global People teams and functional business leaders to ensure alignment and consistency.

  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge and awareness of new and existing employment legislation in US & Canada.

  • Leverage global workforce data and analyticsincluding regretted attrition farewell feedback pay reviews and peer alignmentto present actionable insights and trends that improve organizational performance.

  • Coordinate all Audit & Due Diligence activity in North America & provide solutions for any issues or failings in processes.

  • Mobility - support Hiring Managers and employees with the relocation of staff to US and Canada.

  • Ensure that payroll processes are completed accurately and effectively executed.

  • Ensure that all local policies are up to date and comply with both internal and external guidelines/laws

Regional Responsibilities

  • Oversee the onboarding experience for new hires ensuring a smooth and engaging process that reflects organizational values.

  • Manage in region payroll-related issues promptly and accurately ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards.

  • Maintain visibility of regional workforce data in Workday using insights to support decision-making and identify trends.

  • Support managers in implementing performance review processes coaching on goal setting feedback and development conversations

  • Manage local benefits and insurance processes aligning with global standards while meeting regional needs.

  • Lead regional policy creation and review ensuring compliance with legislation and alignment with organizational principles.

  • Help drive regional initiatives that promote diversity equity and inclusion and strengthen organizational culture.

  • Support wellbeing programs and initiatives that enhance employee health and resilience

  • Support regional onboarding of global mobility transfers

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field

  • 5 years of HR/people experience

  • Proficiency with Workday systems Microsoft Office Suite;

  • Knowledge of principles and best practices for US & Canada

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment
