ENGINEER TOOLING DESIGN
- Research designs repairs and develops with minimal guidance a wide variety of tooling for company products.
- Oversee development of state-of-the art new and modified systems.
- Works closely with other engineering areas and customers to obtain optimum utilization of equipment.
- Follows parts from concept through development and into production.
- Assignments require original thinking and ingenuity to solve problems.
- Documentation of Project Scope Development and Results
- Other duties may be assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree in a mechanical engineering field.
- Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical engineering principles concepts practices and theories.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and course work in dynamics and strength of materials.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient with 3D design software and Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of GD&T
- Strong problem solving abilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering.
- Strong ability to present technical subjects to customers.
- Excel in use of SolidWorks and all the Microsoft Office products.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Office environment with occasional shop environment.
