Offshore Survey Team Norway (April 2026)
Positions Required:
- 1 x Senior Surveyor Approx. 15th to 23rd April (9 days)
- 1 x Survey Engineer Approx. 15th to 18th April (4 days)
Project Details:
- Location: Norway (mobilisation and demobilisation most likely from Bergen)
- Shift Pattern: Single shift 12-hour workdays
- Vessel: ROV support vessel with newly installed Seapath system (Kongsberg engineer will be onboard for final setup and related testing)
Scope of Work:
Mobilisation & Setup (Alongside):
- Install all rental survey equipment onto the ROV
- Setup and configure survey workstations and topside systems
- Perform alongside calibrations and verifications to ensure the full survey spread (topside ROV and sensors) is functioning correctly
- Support/coordinate with the Kongsberg engineer during Seapath final setup and testing
In-Water Calibrations & Verifications:
- Conduct in-water calibrations and verifications (including survey sensors and USBL calibrations)
- These may take place outside the mobilisation port or in the survey area
Survey Operations:
- Once all calibrations and verifications are successfully completed and the system is confirmed operational commence pre-lay cable route survey
- Primary sensors: MBESand SSS with video as directed by the client representative
- Verify that acquired data meets the project survey specifications
Demobilisation:
- Upon successful completion and client approval demobilise equipment and return (likely same quay as mobilisation)
The offshore team will be responsible for ensuring all systems perform as expected throughout the Requirements:
- Must hold valid:
- Offshore Survival Certificate (e.g. BOSIET or equivalent)
- Offshore Medical Certificate
- Seamans Book (Discharge Book)
- Passport
- Must be eligible and available to work in Norway
